But let’s not get ahead of ourselves – there’s a blockbuster clash with Real Madrid waiting in the wings. Remember last year? City gave Real a 5-1 schooling over two legs in the semis. Yet, playing in front of the legendary Bernabéu crowd adds a whole new level of excitement. Despite this, City’s phenomenal 10-game win streak and their unbeaten run at the Etihad make them the team to beat.
Then there’s Bayern Munich, making waves again despite their Bundesliga struggles. They turned the tables on Lazio at home, all thanks to Robert Lewandowski’s heroics. Next up, Arsenal. With Harry Kane shaking off an injury scare, Munich is breathing easier. His presence adds some serious firepower to their lineup.
